My family has been growing their own peppers and producing their own hot sauce for generations.  It’s become a family tradition, but over the years it has become harder and harder to come by.  I’ve searched supermarkets, chef supply stores and the internet to find a hot sauce that can match the quality, texture, smell and flavor of my family’s old recipe, but have been unsuccessful in my search.

 

After waiting several months for a family member to send me a new batch of hot sauce, I decided to try making it myself.  After months of trial and error, I’m proud to say I have not only been able to match the quality of my family’s special recipe, but I’ve been able to make it better by simplifying it and only using fresh, all-natural, vegan safe ingredients.

Habanero Peppers
